CONGRATULATIONS ! !

Did you give her any antibotics last night ? ? The "PRESENTS" could be a result of the antibotics .

My feed store carries Duramycin - 10 or Tetracycline hydrochloride . . . . Is this a decent antibotic for chickens ? ?
Which antibotic did you end up purchasing ? ?

Nope, no antibiotics at all. And darn it, I went to the wrong feed store today and didn't remember the antibiotics! All I gave her last night was a 1/2 eyedropper full of olive oil. Her crop was the first thing I noticed that looked larger than usual, but it was not hard as in impacted, and no sour smell. No signs or feeling of an egg or tenderness or poop on her butt, so the only thing I could think of was she may be constipated, as while she was standing, she just looked to me to have a belly ache. Good guess evidently

She dropped at least 4 or 5 more presents before I took her back to the run. She's out there now chasing poor Pip around, back to normal!

This is the my Black Copper cockerel that does not have the white feathers or fluff in his wings, tail, or hackles. I had mentioned him to Don and said I would post pictures for you to evaluate him. He is about five months old and still filling out.

Nice leg feathering!! Do you have girls for him?

Debbi, I am so glad to hear your little girl is feeling healthy and onery again.

Yes , I have four young females and the male normally is not that low in the wing carriage. I might hatch a few and see what I get. Don

Debbi, he does have two legs! He has a tiny scratch on the top of his toe. I debated on the picture because he was holding his leg up, but he is pretty tough to get pictures of since the dominant rooster has him paranoid to stay in one spot for too long! Time to separate them!
