In the old days they used to say a stones throw away. You getting any snow ? To be honest I still have several Marans here but culled so many that it has slowed down my breeding program for the winter. On the other thread we were talking about breeding Wheaten males without cottontails, I had two this year without the cotton but culled both for the white wing feathers. Don
