Thanks and it was my pleasure meeting you last night too! It is very exciting to have someone so close that is interested in serious future breeding with this very special breed of birds. It sure is okay that you come up, beware I try my very hardest to follow bio-security precautions not just for my birds but the health and safety for everyone birds, please bring boots or shoes that have been disinfected to wear.

See, I'm learning already....I never thought about the "bio thing"

. I'll just boil my feet & go barefoot....sound good? lol Actually, I had some "residual" on my clothes yeserday when I came in and I just never thought about keeping bio from my birds away from someone elses...

Hi guys. Happy New Years EVE!

I got a nice surprise today.... I'm loking at it as a sign. A sign that tells me my 2011 is going to be great and that my breeding programs are going in the right direction...

This is a photo of todays egg. The first pullet egg from my 2010 solid blue marans. I'm happy.

Peachick, that is the color of eggs I hope to find in my nest boxes someday. I think I am already suffering some sort of "egg-envy" and it is only my first morning here....is that possible? Does anyone have the link to an "egg-envy" 12 step program?
