Wow...long thread!!!

First off... Happy Birthday Pink....

Also...Blue chicken owner... Wow and Wow!!!! 2011 looks VERY promising

Nest Boxes... I am the wierd one of the bunch... I hide boxes around my property in bushes with leaves in them for the girlies to "find"... I go to a lot of trouble to camoflage them so that they have a good view of each other and they are not seen from either ground or aerial preditors.. I put them in view of the windows of my house and in the summer I turn my cameras on... for a REAL CHICK FLICK...ha ha ha...

I have been known to use square buckets.. But I have to throw a dark towel over them to make them dark enough to be as enticing as the wood boxes...

I agree with Don.. Sell 1/2 breeds, sell dinosaurs, or Jackalopes... Just be honest about what you are selling... nuff said!!!

Well off to attend to clients.. I will try to give the thread more attention later...

I am hatching cpartist's (Luanne) eggs. First pip awhile ago....

I now have 3 Marans pipped! Here are #2 and #3, side by side! YIPPPEEEE ! ! !

Kathy~ Congrats! I got nuttin' yet but a bunch of rocking, wiggling and peeping. To entice them I put on some feel good music for the them.....my favorite artist Ray LaMontagne, never heard a song from him yet that didn't pick up my pace or put a smile on my face, figured it would work for the chookies!
