Don't fret...I'm sure show dates and locations will be added as time goes by and details are firmed up. They do have shows in CA...but man o man, I would just be heart broken if the only show you could attend was up here in Washington....NOT.....I'd be on cloud 9 to have you come up here and get to know you....but I know I'm dreaming, but maybe one day there will be a huge show some where centrally located on the West Coast and maybe, just maybe that one day, we would all be able to meet up there. That would be delightful!

I too would love to go, but I can't imagine how long a drive that is & I am usually alone when I do things like this unless I take my grand daughter or a friend. My husband is a GREAT support system & I couldn't do this without his help but he is NON-SOCIAL & wants nothing to do with a gathering of "people"...........LOL

That's great Keara,
Really nice looking eggs. I put a couple of OE in this time to try them out. My big Duckwing EE rooster over mossy BCM hens. We will see.........what in about 6 or 7 months???? LOL This is NOT for people in a hurry is it?????LOL
It is a beautiful winter day here in Castle Rock, Washington. At my house we recieved about 6" of fresh snowfall last night and today is one of those blue sky winter days where everything is covered in white and the world seems perfect.
Here are a few pics of some of "The Gang of 6" that I got from Pinkchick back in January. These first 2 pics are of the blue pullets...
The pic below shows the excellent breast development in this girl, who I have named "Dolly Parton"...
This is the larger of the two. This is "Bills' Girl"...nice leg feathering
Now, these pics should be of the 2 "Olive Eggers"... (Isn't this top one a pretty bird?)
In this last pic, the bird was in the middle of taking a step...that "funky look" is not characteristic of this bird.
I love my Bill!!!!!!!!!!!! He scored again! Do you see any copper in her (Bill's girl) hackles Mel? Or is she just very dark blue in the hackle?
They are getting big....that first Olive Egger is going to take after her daddy I think and be a nice sized girl. SWEET!!! Can't wait to see both of their eggs. Oh....heck can't wait to see all of their eggs!

I'm pretty much the same way...try telling him that there is free beer, and that there is a "Gentlemans' Club" right around the corner...
