Hooray!!!! I just got home with th fuzzbutts from Pink! It was very nice to meet you Kim! I'll post some pics later today. Thought I was going to sneak them past DH

but no luck! He got off early

. I casually mentioned that I needed to grab a few things out of the car. I got them into their new home on our basement and was kind of smug then came in to DH who immediately asked, "How many?!?!?!?" "How many what?!?!?" "mmmmmhmmmmm"

gotta love him!

Oh and Kim I can't wait to see how Bills babies turn out!

Question. I thought the lighter chick was a BR but it has been suggested that it's a Cuckoo Maran. Any thoughts from you Maran folks? If you think it may be one... Do they tend to be so meaty with large combs and wattles at 8 weeks? Do you see roo Maran or BR? Just wondering. I don't mind I'm just curious. I'd love your thoughts. Thanks!

Those chicks were from the feed store and they're pretty relaxed out there... I was picking up some stragglers because I felt sorry for them and the young lady said it was either a BR or a CM. He/She looked exactly like a BR at first - same dark coloring, yellowish legs with black tint down the fronts of the legs, nice white spot on top of head...

My BCM Chick. I had 7 hatch but I like this one the best. He has fuzzy toes.
