Well it is impossible to tell in earnest but usually there is more color on the boys.. not a steadfast rule... but the ones that wear tuxedos tend toward the most maleness and the ones that are the darker ones have a higher percentage of females... I find that looking at the thickness of legs also lends a clue. Nothing with marans is 100 percent.

I didn't see tuxes on all of em...
