Ya Debbi you sure come up with some things... I am looking at Pallet coops right now... Who knew??? I am redoing my coop ths summer... Moving it entirely.. So I think I have found a way to use recycled materials I already have on hand.... I even have some glass so they will have light...

Sherman is now 19 weeks. He is crowing like a champ. His ladies are 17 and 19 weeks. No closer to laying.

Here's pics! I'm am more and more pleased with my rooster boy. What do you guys think of his development? I'd welcome critique. He is a blue copper Wade line. I have a blue copper hen and two BCM hens, all Wade. I don't know which BCM is behind him as I tell them apart by their leg feathering.

Sabella...you know I love the shape of Sherman's head... He is really a cutie... I would use over black females with some mahogany red collars to improve the next round of offspring. This will set you up for a darker set of males..

. I should get some fun chicks from my blue gal. Thankfully I think splashes are interesting! I also got him three EE girlfriends that are in quarantine right now and one happens to be blue. Can you tell I have a weakness for blue critters?

i am all about recycled materials , i even got pella windows in my coop 3 layers of glass darn chickens got better windows than i do in my house , u all would be shocked on what my comnpany throws away ,,,, boss telles me to toss in dumpster, so i toss it =in my green ford dumpster, most of my work in in the northarn virginia / west virginia area
\\were people are so waistful , so i donate it to habatat for chickens lol lol but jimmy carter(best president) he wont endorse it .lol

Here's some more pictures of my Birchens I think they are pretty cute and who can tell how they will finish up. I have some more in the incubator from another person who says her's are feather shanked the egg color was a little better because I like the red ruby eggs still not dark enough but this is a play around project because I've caught da blues too.

First is the brown tinted one maybe a girl and they all thought the sun felt sooo good

Then a blue one and I'm thinking I have more boys than girls too
