This is a dieing hobby no reason for people to be mean to each other that just shows the next generation its not a good hobby.

Hard to say on the first one. Can you get a profile pic of the head, and maybe a pic of the legs? I've had both roos and pullets lunge at me when they were TWO DAYS OLD!! Little stinkers!

One was a roo, two were pullets.

Im not sure if this is the correct place to be asking this, so if you think I should ask somewere else let me know. Im trying to figure out what might be the issue with my latest hatch of marans. These were shipped eggs, So far only 3 have hatched but have lost 2 right away. The chicks seem very large and almost maybe deformed. There heads look swollen and even there necks when they hatch. I was thinking this may be a result of bad breeding or too much line breeding. Any ideas or do you think my idea of what might be wrong with them is correct. I have another set supposed to hatch today from some one else but so far no pips so we will see and 2 other sets from 2 other people next week. Im just curiose about what might be wrong with them never seen a chick come out so swollen looking like these.
