Pinks....gorgeous pic. Love the contrasts in color. Starting to pack here for the move, not a fun job. Trying to pare down and simplify life somewhat even though the OR house has a 1k more sq ft than I currently have. Very stressful time here as I'm leaving kinfolk......trying to have a positive attitude.

Okay thread folks need your input. Am moving from the midwest to the Pacific Northwest and am planning on taking the best of the best of my breeding stock with me. Soliciting input on the best way to move approx 40 birds with me. Am considering purchasing a small horse trailer and modifying for Chickens. Has anyone moved with birds before? All input is welcomed:)

IDK... Never heard that before.... But thanks.... Post office has offered refund and insurance compensation but that doesn't fix it... There is still some babies out there LOST!!!! I hope someone has the compassion to open the box and water them.

Yeah Yeah Yeah...thats what they all say LOL! Nice eggs though!

PINK, my last hatch for a few months is in the incubator right NOW. Hatch date for them is May 26.

I've got a broody and am thinking about letting her have some of these eggs. I didn't get to move her today because we had this huge storm come through.
Perhaps tomorrow, she can be moved. . .

Mathace, did you lose power with that storm. What a wild one that was, we had tree limbs down, plants blown over, kept losing power off and on.
The chickens all freaked and ran into their coops, under the boat or cars, etc lol. I never noticed how tiny my adult silkies were until they were totally soaked today LOL!
