Mel sure does have a nice spread on the river....fishin shack included. When I was there last weekend picking up that roo I told Mel that if he came home one day and saw my truck parked near the fishin' shack that he shouldn't shoot first and and ask questions later.....that he should just come up to the shack with some barley and hops water and a pole and pull up chair with Rick and I and get to fishin'....it's mighty wide of me to offer up fishin' space in his own shack, isn't it?

eta: I've got about 3 Marans in the freezer that we could bar-b-roo up too!

.
...........when you get together to cook out, fish and enjoy chicken talk, please think of the rest of us that can't be there with you. We'll be there with you in spirit.
Offer up a toast to BYC, since it's brought us all together.
I baked some chicken last night (my grandpa's favorite recipe)......but fresh salmon, in central Texas, is hard to find. Gee...I'm hungry now. LOL

Crimany!! That IS close! No wonder you can hear our music from there! So it's less than a 2 hour drive....Pink & I are about an hour north of Portland....Maybe this fall (August, Sept.) we can put something together? I could bring a big Salmon or 2....

Okay Mel, Pinks, Geebs,.........um, ah ......me too please. Gonna need friends in "your" neck of the woods. Really strugglin here with the Medfordish move and am countin on y'all to help out. Maybe it will be different once I get there and settle in. Move scheduled for first week in June and kiddos will follow mid-June. Too late to do a garden? Also, happy to bring a Salmon, once I learn how, think they are in the Rogue?! Right Mel?

Pinks, am planning on bringing my BCM male, via Wynettes stock, with me. He is still very dark, not much coppering going on and I believe he is approx 8-9 months. Will try to post a pic so you can see what you think.

Come on down!!!!! I keep telling everyone on our Oregon swap thread we need to do a big ole BYC slumber party here. It's wide open. Tons of place for people to camp and plenty of space inside for those who're sensitive to the outdoors

Would be fabulous!!!!!
