DARN! The usps is not my friend either - they scrambled 8 of the buff laced brahma eggs I recieved
Oh Cheryl! I would've been hopping mad! Even though I was a rural mail carrier for over 8 years, and I know how things can go wrong. Still, for those eggs, I would be pi$$ed! I still think those Buff Laced Brahmas are the prettiest chooks I've ever seen, and sure do hope some day to have some!!! Alas, I will wait till I have a better hatching system and for the price to come down!
Noymira Besides AGENT orange there you have a couple real nice pullets.. The one craning it's neck is going to be one fine looking hen... that is what I like them to look like as youngstock.. long graceful neck.... long skull... wide bodies.. I like the red... If used on a fairly correct male... will make nice males.
I was just wondering, who has the darkest eggs? Im not too worried about what the chickens look like. As I wont be breeding them to show, just for my own personal use. Im just looking for super dark eggs. If you want to send it through PM that is fine with me.
Egg-topsied 5 eggs tonight to see what went wrong. Leave it said, those that I cracked opened, all should have hatched! One chick was huge, in a huge egg, and ready to come into the world. One had some yolk absorbing to do yet, so may have hatched a day later, again, a huge chick. All were dead, and I couldn't go on cracking any more open. It just made me feel worse...Will set 7 eggs tomorrow and keep them in the King Suro for hatching too. This incubator seems to get them there, but if there are more than 7 eggs, there isn't enough room for them to hatch in. So, have set 7 eggs...again, we'll see.
