Nothing planned for tomorrow.....but it would be nice if today's weather holds out. Doing gutters today on an old craftsman 2 story in Portland with one heck of a pitched roof. Beautiful houses......really stupid roofs.

But the neighbor has backyard chickens and I can see over the fence when up on the ladder and yesterday I saw one of his buff orpingtons waddling around with 3 little babies. Doesn't get any better than that.

Good morning all

I can see it's another chatty day in here! I fell asleep with the TV on last night, and at about 3am, was awakened by a familiar voice. IT WAS NILES CRAIN!!

I started laughing so hard, the dog came over to see if I was ok! Had to stay up then and watch the show!

Congrats on the babies hatching!!

Ive kept the humidity up reguardless but im wondering if i dont have shrink wrapped chicks in all these eggs.

Patience my friend! Leave that bator shut. Let 'em finish cookin'. I think it was last year that I had the craziest hatch........nothing until day 23 and only one chick...then...nothing 'til day 25 and again, only one chick.....then nothing again until day 27 and the last little chickie hatched. Lol....I think I still have 2 out of the 3.
