I'm not setting eggs for NYD until Dec. 11th. so saving them right now would make them a little too old. I am going to start saving eggs the 29th or 30th. Mark yours with something so I know for positive that they are from Dolly and of course I will cook them for you.

Hey.....are you looking to get rid of one of them roosters? Someone called me yesterday looking for a Blue Copper roo but the one I have is too closely related to his female that he got from somebody up north that happens to be from me as well. He is not going to breed them, he just wants the dark eggies and a rooster to protect the ladies.

I set smaller pullet eggs all the time...they hatch out just fine. My little Stoopid baby that hatched last week came from one of the smallest pullet eggs I can remember setting and Stoo is doing great!!!! And I couldn't believe that huge chick came out of that little tiny egg. Matter of fact the other Blue Laced Barnie project baby that hatched also hatched from a very small pullet egg.

Hatch Away my friend!

Hope your hubby feels better and you get rid of that crick!

Haha I just had that double yolker video on and you can hear the baby chicks chirping real loud. So dh runs in here and says "What the he11 ! Where is that coming from"? He thought I was hiding chicks and hatching them LOLOLOL. NOW I HAVE to try and do that.
