Well, I plan on going, At least I can be used as an example what not to do.
I mean, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?
He is growing up to be a nice boy.
Actually my last win inflated my head so big, it still hasn't gone down.

Yes! If the bird has a white feather on the day of the show, don't go. White feathers are a DQ. Period. If the judge knows the SOP, the bird MUST be DQ'd. If it isn't DQ'd, it's a mistake.

If you get a chance to go to a judging clinic, do it. I've done it a couple of times now. Learn LOADS about how to show birds and how they are judged etc.

My problem is, I am geographically unsuitable.
Them darn New Yorkers.... I am so far away from anything remotely resembling a chicken...
I still get laughed at. Chickens???
So as far as any clinics, or classes. Hah!

I googled the, today after back reading here and sat here shaking my head. Idiot comes to mind when looking at them and the thoug of crossing them into Marans.

Wow, so not only are the varieties mixed all up in marans but penedesenca's may have been mixed in as well??
