Yep....I don't need the larger bandettes, unless I have roosters that are almost identical that I can't tell apart that I am growing out. After they reach a certain age around 4-5 mos. and or are culled and I am not keeping them, I see no need to use the bands, but I do have the larger ones and will use them if need be, but really I only need the bands for the all the girls.

Most decent feed stores carry Vet Wrap or something just like it. Any place that caters to horses will have it. Or try Jeffer's if you need to buy it online.

Oh no, I'm a shank feather freak too!

Lightly feathered just doesn't bug me as much as these stupid combs do!

Maybe just because I haven't had to deal with the stupid combs - yet? (And I hope it stays that way!!!!!!!)

Really got a chuckle out of the fuzzy legs and dew thing. I don't know about chickens, but when I first moved out here to Missouri, the gang would all go on "Float Trips". Take a boat or raft and just float down the river all day long. Usually would stop along a sandbar at one point and go swimming. Well, my dear friend, I'll call her Flo, would always bring a razor with her. So, me being me, I had to know why. "Are you kiddin' me?? Once you hit that cold water, your legs will sprout!" ???????????????? Are you kidding ME?? Nope, she sure wasn't. Sorry if all the men are now gagging
