I love real fruitcake! My ex MIL used to make the best I've ever had! Chock full of different nuts, fruits, and probably a whole bottle of rum...

I never have used rum... one day I will remember to make it a month or two before so I can soak it........

I don't have the pleasure of keeping my nose in the bator .... ever really..... The incubator and the hatcher are at the farm so I can only look between chores or when we are done. I usually record it on the computer, but we moved everything around and the computer has not made it to the hatcher yet

Good luck on the next hatch coming up and have fun baking and cooking. I am going to attempt (if time allows and I can get off BYC

)making some sugar cookies today....big, thick, fluffy and soft sugar cookies with a butter creme type of frosting. YUM-YUMMY! Then if I can get that done, family has requested pumpkin rolls with cream cheese frosting and honey glazed walnuts. There's always room for pumpkin rolls!
