Typical... so I hatched 7 lil marans a week and a half ago. I am not sure if these birds have that slow feather gene but I have 2 that are way ahead of the other 5 on wing feathers. It probably means that I have 5 cockerels and 2 pullets.

I put flex wrap on the legs of the two that I think might be girls. We will see if my guesses are right.

I really like the other blue boy you have too.....they are both very pretty and I hope that the first boys wing is not slipped and he is just holding it funky.
