Guess so?? I hurt too bad today to do much of anything. Limpin', gimpin', and bent for most of the day.

Just enough time to feed and water, clean out the waterers, and put bedding in the Silkie coop and Marans nest boxes. Found an egg in my mailbox on the porch, totally sucked dry!! Dad gummed cats!!!

I soooo know what you mean about hurting too bad to do much. That dang nerve is really driving me nuts and the longer I stand and do things at work the more I can feel it getting pressed on and it will start sending pain down to my knee. The funny thing is that it IS much better! haha doh! I'm probably gonna be a gimpy old lady at the rate I'm goin!

I am not a redhead.... this month.. haha...my hubby loves redheads, I tried that route when I was young and wanted to catch him... it didn't work btw. You are starting too young. My hubby keeps telling my I am too young to feel all this pain too, he is 23 years older so maybe he knows.

I found some SLW hatching eggs in TN!!!!! So excited!!!! sorry back to your regularly scheduled Marans program..... continue I will lurk......

You'll have to fill me on the SLW eggs!! PM perhaps!?

Yeah....I notice that way too many people are feeling pain, far to young. I am working on being able to produce more of my own foods and getting farther away from anything that is processed. I still believe it has a lot to do with so many problems people are having across the board. JMO

In my case, it all started with a dislocated femur at 17, from a horse riding accident. RXed as needing a full hip replacement back in 1996, and since then both knees have gone to pot, along with my back. The crap in the food they serve these days, and the flouride in the water, causes many of the problems we see here now. GMO soy is one of them, and yet they tout it as a "healthy" food. Oh, gosh, how I could go on, but I won't here!!

I had to have knee surgery a few years a go. Back problems for years. I am with you on the soy thing. Growing old sucks, but it is better than the alternative..... I think....

To me the alternative could be to become independent of processed foods with a group of people willing to work together to produce things and use skills to have a life away from so much processed crap become a reality. Call me crazy haha

That is a huge let down let me tell you!.. im sick about but it! I should have done better research its my own mistake... I hate to let this beautiful boy go to waste he will not be going in the breeding pen nor any of the other 3hens. but now i have no roos to breed to my good hens

I paid decent money for them only to have nothing...this truley disgusts me.

chevgrl ~ Oh dear, Dave again?? Believe me when I tell you, THAT is a CARNATION comb! Ask me how I know. My first chicks were from him. I have one hen with a full blown carnation, two other hens that carried the gene, and the now deceased hatchmate roo, who didn't express one but also carried the gene for it. Him and his wife Vicki still sell these on ebay, in large amounts, so the already small gene pool is now being heavily infused with this true disqualifying fault! ALL F1s from a test breeding, or should I say the only breeding, of these birds produced hideous carnation combs! Sad too, because I still have a pullet left from this breeding, and she is a beauty...if you don't look at her comb!

Cull them all that you got from him, or anything you bred them to. What a huge waste of my time, money, tears, and hope.

Debbi, this quote was from you about prathers. this is Dprather owner of prathers poultry
