Does anybody know if mydarkeggs.com is still in business? I have emailed both guys twice and used the contact form. I never heard back does anyone know of a reputable breeder with pure wade jeane blue coppers and birchens please let me know? Thanks!

Tom Culpepper only sold out of his Black Coppers due to health issues. He is keeping his Birchen Marans though. Don't know where the Black Coppers made it too.

There are plenty of reputable breeders out there that have pure Wade Jeane line birds, hopefully one or some will see your request and get in touch with you.
Perhaps you could also post a wanted ad in the Buy, Sell, Trade section of the forum here as well.

Flgarden~ I will keep you posted on the giant pumpkins. Just started some more seeds last light. Hopefully I watch the weather reports this time in case of a freeze, but I have all hoop houses and row covers ready this time just in case. I am so excited to try and grow them and suprizingly enough they don't take as long as smaller varieties of pumpkins. The chooks will go crazy eyeballing the giants growing from their coops. LOL!

Hello I have a Blue Copper Maran my hubby brought home last night. I look at it and I see what I think is wrong with it. I am not sure if I want him for a breeder. But if he passes the Maran thread DQ's I'll use him. He was born in OCT 2011. Grandparents from French eggs or so he said. He is large and to me his color looks good. The tail looks maybe boarderline 90 degrees. On alert it is a bit forward relaxed it is just below 90. A couple toes appear bent. Comb is very large all points are there. He had a rough night trying to get out of the pen. His tail feathers got trashed.
So fire away, tear him apart.

Okay so they are not even close to Ms. Barngoddess' gorgeous egg...but some girls my best friend has from me are laying some very nice eggies. She came up for a quick visit yesterday afternoon and brought the pretties with her for me to see. Thought I would share them with ya'll.
