One of my 4 month old Pullets just laid her 1st tiny egg....isn't that a little too young?
Who has the darkest egg and great looking FBMC's available nowadays...I think the eggs I've received last are maybe a 4+ color wise...but the color does change by cycle right?
4 months is young. I have had bad luck with the ones that start laying very young. Issues with egg binding down the road.The first couple of eggs a pullet lays might be a little on the light side but generally speaking the darkest eggs are at the beginning of the cycle and they lighten up quite considerably by the end of the cycle.![]()
