I got six beautiful eggs today.

Also, hubby bought Tide the other day at the store and I did laundry. Now, I find out I am allergic to it and look like a tomato all broken out in hives!!! UGH! There, that should make you feel better!

I DO feel better that you got so many eggs...AGAIN!
But not about the tide, (which, btw, is my fave orignal scent laundry detergent) and/or tomato rash. That's the nuts! I, too, did laundry today -bedding- and took the baby marans out for their first jaunt in the sand.
They LOVED it!
They want to stay out there, but waiting for dbil to finish brooder part of my new coop.

By the way, what does dbil mean?? Also, I see people refer to what must mean their husbands as "DH" do you know what that means? I can come up with a thing or two!!!

Ms Cluck update, she has figured out a system to walk she gets the one leg across the other but she has learned not to be standint on her other foot and takes a step it looks a bit ackward but she is getting better. She is sooo spoiled and she is almost paper trained.

I get her our of the carrerier when ai get home from the office. I put a few sheets of newspaper on the floor and she has started using it it has been 3 days since she pooped on the floor.

So this evening after supper I give her the dish I baked my cornbread in so she can have the bit left. And she shares it with the dogs.

Then she decided they had had enough so she stood in the dish.

Then Rascal decided she wanted another bite and Ms Cluck pecked her and she backed off.

Like she was telling her That's it you've had had enough.

It was so funny. The dogs don't bother her at all I think they believe she is just one of them.

And I have a home for 2 of my 5 Marans roos

A friend of mine has 20 sexlinks pullets they are about 6 months old. No other roos so these boys I believe will be just fine. He is coming by to get them tomarrow. He asked if I wanted some of the eggs this spring to hatch, said yes of course. And we will see what we get.

Mothergoose sorry about the rash from the Tide I have the same problem.

Awwwww! That is so cute! My husband would KILL me if I put a chicken in the kitchen--unless it was in the frying pan!! I didnt know you could potty train a chicken!!!

Shoot! Most dogs don't potty train that fast!!
