That is crazy funny, and I have seen that face on a chick, more than once! Either saying "gross." or "wonder if that's food" or everyone in the back is looking at him like, "that chick is nasty" and the one in front is looking the other way whistling thinking, "Wasn't me".

LOL!

Thanks for makin my day.

The girls laid some jumbo, roundy eggs this week. They are laying better eggs now that it has cooled off a bit here. These are the biggest eggs I've gotten all year.

Yes I have heard several people say that about their Wheaties before-that they lay jumbo eggs.

This is their first year and they have been laying since around mid January. My pullet eggs were dark and very round, but a little bit punky-sized. Nine months in to this first year one of my hens in particular is really laying large eggs now. Not large like Bee's eggs, if you've seen those; Those are the largest, darkest eggs in the country right now. She is in West Virginia, I believe, and she has a hen that lays coffee bean-brown eggs that are just enormous.

! You must be very proud of your girls.

I have seen a few pics of Bee's eggs and WOW are they dark. I am curious to know how the conformation is on her birds? You say she has only one bird that lays that dark? I would love to hatch a few of those eggs (Bee if your watching

) or anyone else who has coffe bean colored eggies.
