What day does everyone's eggs usually hatch? I did two batches of mutt chicks last month with about 80% fertility and they all hatched on days 19-20. Now here I sit with 7 BCM eggs (1 my own & 6 from 3chickens), it's day 21 and I haven't even gotten a pip. I'm getting nervous. The 6 from 3chickens weren't shipped either.

For the person who asked about hatch dates -- my large fowl usually hatch right on day 21, with a few stragglers on 22. The bantams often hatch day 20.

Actually, this past week, when I hatched the Wheaton Marans from berkleysprings ....
I gotta tell on myself ..... I don't know how I did this, but I did ....
When moving them from the Sportsman into the hatcher, (I use egg cartons to hatch in) I set one upside down!

AND IT HATCHED!

I incubate on the cooler side, closer to 99 degrees. Maybe your bator might be runnin a bit cooler this time around. I did have a few day 22 hatches before.

Im hatching right now BCM and they started on Sat, 2 that day and 8 on Sun, than yesterday 4more and today two more and one is trying. I dont get it never had this happen before. Im using a LG and husband is making me a a big one now..
I do have a question one of the chicks is having a hard time standing its like one leg is bending backwards. I put a little splint on it and have is in a round thing so it cant move much. Im thinking with the splint maybe it will get stronger.. I feel so bad for it..
What do you think.
