Can 2 BCM's produce a Cuckoo? I saw the breed stock first hand and there were only BCM's. The breeder I got them from bought her stock directly from Wade Jeane...

I got one that looks like that too...supposed to be a BC...Wade Jean lines too. Very interesting! ?????

I was just in the middle of a room between a window & a door. The flash came on, I was surprized it did. That is why there is a white spot in the middle. The hen is from Davis lines.

I don't have a photo of the hen, but she is nice. I have her alone with a roo inside the barn, so I know which eggs are hers, so photos won't be very good, or I'd go take one.

So here are 10 of the eggs that made the cut for the last Marans I will be setting for this year. I hope to get 2 more that make the grade today.

Here is the blue copper roo I hatched out of onthespot's eggs. He is very handsome and HUGE! He is 7 weeks old.

I am soooooo excited. I am going tomorrow to pick up my baby BC marans chicks (8 of them). Very nice little fuzzy butts from a good breeder that uses the Bev Davis and Wade Jean lines. My friends think I am crazy driving about 175 miles round trip for these, but I wanted the very best I could get and I believe these are.
