Oh, it's done with other breeds as well Halo. You still hear Barber Blue Laced red Wyandottes, as well as Foleys, and Jesse Paul. And surely you've heard of Bamachicken's Blue orpingtons, lol.

I need to get rid of one of these 6 months old roos but can't decide who must go. So I'm asking what do yall think and why you think that.
nothing wrong with either they just don't get along with each other and they are actually brothers go figure
this is Confucius

Here are a couple photos of my Bill's son "Junior" (I know, I know... I went out on a limb with his name

). He is just turning 5 months old. Wish I could have snapped a pic of him next to my Copper Splash roo, Junior is a big boy. Anyway these pics were taken just as he was circling like a dog to lie down and bask in the sun. Will try and get better photos of him later today that show his coppering better.
Hoping he inherited his fathers personality and disposition...so far so good.

The splash roo has coppering and one of the blue hens has some, I don't think the other blue hen has any coppering?

One of my cherished Black Copper pullets was dead this morning.

I don't know what happened, clean water, plenty of feed, warm brooder. All the others seem just fine. I went ahead and put some medication in their water, but this is the first chick I have lost in a long time. It was about 2 weeks old. Still have 6 black copper chicks and 2 Blue copper chicks and 2 cuckoo chicks.

AUTBACK HATCHER you want even copper on Marans roo.You do not need yelow ring on neck, light sadles and darker wings.I like Confucios's copering better. If he is big strong healty boy from dark egg- I will chuse him

Outback hatcher: Confusious... Definetly displays better color qualities. (can't see legs).... Color balance is better and he will fill in with coppering and size with age.
