Mine always have shells too, but I get paranoid when I see funky eggs and toss in some more. Their shells are ultra tough too.

My SFH buyers are on their way, and I'm being totally paranoid about the cleanliness of the brooder (we are using paper towels still). My practical daughter says, "Mom, do you want them to think these chicks don't poop?" ....maybe?

It went great - I'm not sure our local peeps quite understand that $15 for a SFH is a deal! I will keep worrying though, until I hear they got home okay.
LOL, The seem to poop more under stress, and getting shown off to potential buyers would be stressful.
