I don't have anything to hatch yet but I'm hoping to find or buy/build an incubator and some eggs haha

I have 2 roosters, a easter egger (ameraucana/araucana mix) he is main one who gets the girls. Then there is a blue andalusian rooster who sometimes might possibly get a girl. So mainly Hawkeye my ee is the dad, then the moms are 3 rhode island reds and one splash blue andalusian hen. The Blue rooster is not very nice to me, I am trying to get ride of him. So I am hoping that he isn't that dad to any of them since I don't want his mean offspring, but seeing as how he is not very good at catching the girls, I think I don't have to worry too much.

Have a Spanish bantam that tries to tap every hen we have only problem like my bantam Cochin they just too short to make the connection but have to desperate them from my hens they tear the feathers off the girls trying so hard!!

Just candled some of the eggs shipped to me, and there's great vein development and embryo movement! Day 8 i had the incubator go off one night and they were shipped, so i wasn't sure! they are dark shelled for the most part so we'll see what happens .. but this is very hopeful. YAY!

Yay!!! Go chickies go! I"m glad the incubator hickup didn't hurt them.

I've candled nothing yet. I have a dozen Local eggs under broody hens on day 7, I have 63 Ebay eggs on day 4 and I just set my 38 BYC auction eggs this morning.

I still have room in the incubator, but I'm waiting for a fellow BYC'r to get some eggs, and I'll incubate those for her. Those are supposed to ship today.

Lots of chickies in a few weeks!!

What do I do when my last employer says they owe me some back pay? Weekend getaway? Nope. Nice rug for the rough old floorboards in our living room? Nope. New shoes and purse? Nope, nope.

Find a farmer who is willing to haul his old custom coop out here and set it up for more chickens?

Yes!!!! This is when happens when I order 5 eggs from Papa's and he sends me 10. And they look pretty good.

nd I just gave a Roo away this morning but somebody surely has a Roo somewhere close to you!
