So is that outer membrane always supposed to be white? I have Marans and Ameraucana eggs in this incubator and any who’s pip is large enough to see under the shell have a white membrane...except this one Ameraucana that looks sort of greenish tan.
crested cream legbar. My daughter got to see it and I videoed the whole thing. My first hatch!
After very little action, the 3 Marans zipped very quickly and hatched within minutes of each other. The only one that hasn't hatched yet is an Ameraucana who was the last to pip by several hours and hasn't made any progress since that one tiny pip last night. I was a bit worried it wasn't even going to pip though, so at least that's progress, and it's still moving around in there
