I candled my silkie eggs again (day 7). The good news is that all eight eggs have been accounted for as having some amount of development. The sad news is that I removed four eggs for having obvious blood rings. Hoping the remaining four all make it to hatching.

Broody’s eggs still look good, looks like her going to the wrong nest yesterday didn’t hurt them.

Day 13 for the call duck eggs! Halfway through incubation! Looks like I have 2 more quitters. I have not removed them yet.
The other 5 eggs are looking very well though so I’m hoping all of them make it to hatch day and hatch out. I will get candling pictures of all of them and a second opinion on the suspected quitters tommorow.

I candled my 16 today - day 5. I have 13 that are developing, two that probably weren’t fertile and one with a small blood ring. I’ll leave them all in there until day 8 and check again.
