Ok one more annoying new hatcher question! LOL I have read in several books to let the eggs sit unturned the first day or two? Does anyone do this ? Set them and let them sit and rest in the bator? I promise no more questions

I only know about shipped eggs, I was told to let them rest small end down for a day to acclimate to the indoor temps. Ask away, there are ppl wondering the same things! (me for one)

I am going to pick up my eggs tonight! Trying to decide if I set them when I get home, or wait until tomorrow am... LG temps are still fluctuating a bit, so I hope this works!!!!

I couldnt resist so i candled! Lol. Out of eight egss, 5 are developing nicely and the other 3 are questionable. I was shocked how easy it was to see the little veins but it was rather easy. The other 3 are sorta porous so thats why I'm not giving up yet. Will leave them alone now until day 9 or so.

So excited, I have 24 Brahma eggs coming! I will probably set them either Friday evening or Saturday morning!

I have 18+ Ameraucana B/B/S eggs coming,

I hope to set them this weekend. This will be our second attempt at hatching, so I am coming along for the ride. Wish me luck, or better yet, say a prayer, the poor little critters may need it.
