I have a problem....

My polish go into lock down on Tues the 9th.... BUT i have marans they don't go into lock down until next Tuesday the16th..... Any ideas on what to do with the marans while the polish are hatching.... I thought I would think of something clever, but haven't....now I'm in trouble....

Maybe my friend's bator is empty and I could borrow it... other than that...I'm not sure...anyone ever have these problems?

2 surprise early chicks out! They are due tomorrow afternoon.

Here is one of my sweeties holding our first grey chick. Some barnyard mix. It hatched out of a plain brown egg. 2 down and 11 eggs to go!

Candled last night and all 22 Brahma eggs are coming along! So glad that this hatch is going so much better than my last hatch. One more week! This week is going to go by sooooo slowly! Great pics of all the chicks hatching out!

My first ever hatching batch started this morning. 15 JG eggs set in the hovabator 1588 with auto egg turner. now the nervous waiting game begins..

it is day 19 for me....

i have 2 standard WCB eggs in the incubator and 3 under a Silkie....

is it bad to wish it was Monday????
