So far 5 babes in the brooder, 2 zipping and 1 pip, pip, pipping. They are all from blue and dark olive Ameracuana eggs.

I got two sultans two days early. Now I"m waiting on the rest.

No more pips! They were rockin' this morning, but since I removed the two chicks and put them in the brooder they been still. I'm hopin' they hatch. Tomorrow is day 21.

Day 21 is tomorrow. I have 4 left of 16 Auracanas. I'm so glad to hear of others reporting pips and zips and early hatches but at the same time disheartend. Nothing going on here. My cockatiels are also hatching their eggs. 2 babies out of 6 so far. Next time I may just put one of my chicken eggs in the nesting box and let the Tiels give it a try. The image of a Tiel sitting on a chicken egg thinking "what the Heck?" at least makes me smile. Congrats to all hatches and good luck to all.

I was in the same boat as your are in. They were a whole 2 days late. Nutten, Nadda, and then came home to 3 zipping. Have 5 in brooder now, and 2 zipping and 1 pippin. I almost gave up to start a new batch. Sooo... keep on hanging in there, they may surprise you. They did me!

Good thing for everyone to remember is NOT to open your incubator until ALL your chicks have hatched

Opening your incubator lets out the humidity and the rest of the chicks dry out (shrink wrap) and cannot hatch.

GOOD LUCK
