I have 17 English lines BBS eggs in there. Have 4 pips now...no chicks yet but hoping some will make it out tonight. I am so in love with this breed. they are stunning and big and fluffy! I cant wait....
. I took chicks out of the bator and put them in the brooder for fear of the chick banging into all the unhatched eggs. It was moving over top, rolling eggs everywhere. I have a styrofoam hova-bator. Should I just be leaving them in there and not take out broken eggs or hatched chicks?
Day 21. Well, there's at least one chick alive in the bator - I can hear it, so I guess their night without power didn't do all of them in. Think I'm gonna get anything done around here today?
