March Hatch-A-Long.( How is it gettting here so quick ? LOL )

No I haven't bought these on ebay...sold to me as "frizzled Ameraucana" but most of the eggs are tan a few olive a few blue....equals EE....but amazing birds so I'm excited
I have a frizzled polish and a frizzled phoenix bantam...so cool it's got the long phoenix tail but it curls forward...
the frizzle phoenix is from my birds

If anyone else wants this type of cross, I have basically the same thing, except that I would only consider the ones I collect from my Ameraucana/Araucana cross hens as qualifiers. I have a bunch of gals that lay pinkish tan eggs who are also being bred with the frizzled roo, but he's a carrier of a pinkish tan egg gene, so the offspring of them might be frizzle, but they definately are NOT Ameraucana. I have some of the blue eggs in the 'bator right now on day 14. I'm excited to see the results. It's my first time crossing the blue layers with a frizzle. I think it will be pretty fun

Oh yeah, and they're bantams. I love me the little birdies.

I'm going to blend my ameraucana's and my araucana's also...I wanted the Araucana's in my flock but no point in me passing on the lethal gene...just wanted the blue eggs and rare bird...and they are loves!

I love my A/A crosses. Each hen lays a slightly different shade of blue. One is quite a pale blue. One almost a light turquoise. It's kinda fun. The interesting thing is that some of the chicks have the tufts and some are smooth headed. I love the tufts, but somehow most of my favorites have ended up being the smooth-headed. I currently have 5 hens, all different colorings, 3 smooth headed, and a very beautiful roo (who is also smooth headed and looks like an avian Fabio). I'm excited to get the frizzle gene combined with them and perhaps a little more olive/mint shade egg perhaps.

I just candled a couple of my eggs tonight, tomorrow is day 14. Looks like a have a couple of early quitters and thanks to some advice I received on here about lining my TP core with foil, I was able to see into some of my olive eggs and they are developing quite nicely. I can't hardly wait until next Thursday...Fluffy butts.
