March Hatch-Along Thread- Come Hatch With Us!!!!!

Those are my GSBR/Blue Plymouth Rocks. This is my 5th hatch from these guys and so far I have had 100% fertility and hatch rate.

I can't wait till mine are out of those shells and
Running around the brooder !!
My sweet husband is building the brooder today! So I will prob get it started warming in the morning for when I need to get the chicks out of the bator ( I hope to have some hatched tomorrow sometime)

Mine were SUPPOSED to have hatched tomorrow, but I had the temp a little high and one actually pipped on day 19!
Has anyone tried to hatch eggs as early as possible with high temps, say day 18 or so? I would think that would be bad for them, but is it possible?

I think pretty tricky t o defy nature to hatch early a little too high .maybe kill them !!Fine line

So my bator looks like a popcorn popper. I have chicks pipping, zipping and hatching:

Wish mine were. Have 4 hatches in lock not even sure which exactly are due today SOME are..no sign of anyone on the way though well i think they wwre my fridge eggs mostly not fertile anyway ONE maybe
But which to take out after its too late???got me.! LOL

I forgot to mention the teenie tiny little lone buff call duckling I hatched out yesterday...now THAT was the smallest egg I've EVER hatched out! Cutest little buggar is still resting.

HI, Have to start 7 pages back to catch up...............

Two things real quick
Of the three eggs.I have 2 beautiful English Orp. chicks.
Lost one and I know I could have saved it but over slept.
It had a nice pip,was chirping when I went to bed..........humidity drooped to 45 over night.
Pretty sure that is why it didn't finish.??????? or , maybe never know????
Having a horrible time with the humidity dumping in the middle of the night?????
Need to reevauluate to find the reason.

Also.changing servers to DSL so should be able to post pictures soon.........
Will catch up later.........
