I am wondering....with having staggered hatch dates....how do you control humidity and turning after lockdown ?

2 different bators. Use one for incubating and 1 for hatching. You risk the chance of drowning the other chicks that are still incubating when you go into lockdown.

Honestly with them only being a day apart I don't think it'd hurt them.

This is my incubator at the moment, set on 25th February. I have 12 Araucana, 12 Barnevelder and 13 Australorp. I'll have more eggs before the week is out, but I'll be using another incubator as a hatcher, so I don't have to worry about humidity or chicks hitting or destroying the other eggs.

I'd like to join in on this...
I have a thread called "Incubating Eggs of Different Ages". I ran into this same problem, as I have eggs due to hatch anywhere from March 1st (a Wheaten Maren egg) to March 13th (5 brown mystery eggs), March 20th (13 pearl guineas), March 24th (mixed ducklings), and my favorites on March 24th-30th (4 goose eggs!).

I've already hatched several batches of chicks with this setup, it seems to work pretty well!

Plus, there is an bacteria bloom whenever chicks hatch, which decreases the hatch rate of your other eggs.

Just came in from locking the coop. I really dnt think my broodies going to hatch anything. Ive candled them there are chicks but they should have hatched by now. Ill toss them by this weekend if nothing. I will order her chicks in April. We need to get through spring break plus if we have anything left over after our bators hatch then I will give her those.

Our eggs in the bator is doing good. It will be 7 day mark on Thursday so we will see. Good luck all!!

Mine are due to hatch on the 14 of march!!! Super excited!!!

Joining here because even though I set in Feb, they're due the 8th and 10th of March. I have 2 d'Anver/silkie mixes, 3 BBS bantam cochins, 4 bantam BRs, and 6 bantam sizzles cooking
