I am picking up a dozen Ameraucana eggs this weekend.

My incubator is all fired up and ready to go!

This is my first hatch and I'm so excited!

I'm thinking they should hatch on the 23rd or 24th?

I dont have any set yet but I know I will. I have some chicks due to hatch today. :0) one hatched last night ...and I do have 5 ancona duck eggs due to hatch next week so I guess Im in the group. :0) already looking at what I want to hatch next. I got an incubator for Christmas and so did my daughter and we are on our second hatch. I have 5 week olds as well...lol.

Welcome to the group. Threadgeek is there any way you can hold off on getting your eggs until next week? You both may want to look at the BYC Easter Hatchalong if you don't have eggs yet. There are over 200 people participating. We all set our eggs at noon on March 9th and hope we have the first egg to hatch.. Lots of prizes and contests.

i have some buff brahams lavender americunas and standard cochins due on march 12 they have been candled and the ones i have left is 9 out of 15 brahams those were shipped they are doing ok so far but have some messed up air sacs there is 17 of the lavender americaunas and 9 of the cochins they all look good except for the messes up air sacs on the brahams so we will so how it goes wish me luck

I'm on day 7, I will candle tonight. I'm so nervous, but I know I have a very high fertility rate, so I am hoping that more than half hatch. I will have babes around the 13th...so I am in 42 eggs deep. I am excited tho, I've been wanting to do this since I got my chicks last year so here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!
