I'm candling tonight, day 7 and SOOOOO excited to see what's growing (first timer).  Unfortunately half of my 22 eggs are opaque though (EE and BCM) and I can't see anything so I'm definitely weighing them too. 

I hear ya! My daughter and I candled 2 days ago it was very cool seeing them wiggle around in there it reminded me of an ultrasound!!

Hi Everyone.
One of my hens went broody last week and we put 6 light sussex eggs under her from ebay.
Day 6 today and all going well fingers crossed! Hatch should be around 14th March!

Ohh I'll join in.. Set my 24 catdance eggs on the 20th. Can't wait till the 13th of March!

today is day 14 for me....

candled with my awesome new 900 lumens flashlight and seen 32 little babies ready to hatch soon! A lot of them are my little silkies I got from a BYC member here that has some catdance, sunshine, bobbi porto and marti mcguire lines and some BR and a mix including BLRW and more!! PRAYING for a better hatch than my first!! Trying hard not to get too excited. Pulled last 8 non movers, infertile, and quitters so now we are locked and loaded! 4 more days til lockdown!

Happy to help! This will be my second hatch and I've learned a lot since the first one. Temp and humidity has been SO much better after changing things up a little bit, and I'll actually be able to lockdown on time! Last time I had air cells that were too small so I had to bump back lockdown a couple days...I think that's why I got goopy chicks too. REALLY hoping these guys make it. I'll be hatching them in cartons so we'll see how that goes!
