That has been surprising to me on this thread the amount of candling so many are doing. I am not a hatching guru at all, I am good at dealing w/ shrink wrap, but that was forced on me. Anyway I haven't really participated in many hatch a long threads and had no idea so much candling was going on. I only candle once at half time.
I haven't incubated anything myself yet. I can't say yet what I would or wouldn't do for sure. I figure the candling is important in the first 10-14 days, to ensure there are no duds. I likely wont be candling the last week. I'll sleep better if I don't think about them
