I recently took in a chicken I was told that had been stepped on. This was 5 days ago. On the way home I immediately noticed the eyes. It screamed mareks to me. However, I have never had a chicken with mareks disease. She is completely isolated in a guest room and yes, I touch very minimal and if I do, I take a shower and wash all clothing. She is not using one leg, eyes are off. Normal poop and is still laying eggs. Help?! Is it mareks?

Here are pics of her eyes.

Yes that's Marek's. The graying in the Iris plus the odd shaped pupil are signs.

She may have Ocular Marek's, & an injury, or Ocular Marek's, plus another Mareks's variant.
Thank you. I thought so right away. She’s in the extra bedroom just living the rest of her little life out as I just went to rescue her Sunday thinking it was an injury however I noticed immediately. Ty for your confirmation!

It would be a different story if it were Coloboma, which isn't a Disease, just something they're born with either due to an error in Embryo Development, or a Genetic Mutation.

Chick with Coloboma.
