What's the dosage?

The dosage for Tylan 50 is 1/2 cc for standard birds and 1/4cc for bantams. I'd try it once a day for 4 days or so and see if it clears up.

I gave him 1cc (saw it on another thread) under his skin on the back of his neck and he started bleeding. Is that normal??

Nm, a little pressure and he stopped bleeding. He's standing ALL the way up... I hope he is well soon

Sorry about what happened. Just want to say that if a breeder has vaccinated hens, there is no way to tell that the chicks have Marek's.

I wonder where they get pox from?

I didn't get them from a breeder.. I got them from a poultry mkt. Lesson learned. I have no idea where the pox came from but they are free ranged most of the day. He's the only one sick right now and he's been separated so it hopefully won't spread any further. I'm just glad I know how to treat and he has a chance. I only see the pox on 3 of my roosters. Two are acting fine.

Its normal the first few times. you nicked him under the skin. no biggy tho Good job on your first injection

And yes 1cc is the adult bird dose we go by. (1.5 for full grown jersey giants)
