I have had a few of my hens die from Marek's my question is will my entire flock die or are some immune I have bought my chicken fro different places andhatched some. Will they all eventually catch it or are some immune even if they are not vaccinated? Is there a specific place that I could buy the vaccine? One of my new chickens this time

Have you had a necropsy done on any of the hens that died to confirm Marek's?

Marek's is extremely contagious, so if your flock has been exposed to it, they are now carrying the virus in their cells. Chickens over four weeks of age exposed to it may start to show symptoms. Most victims are sick by ten weeks to four months.

If a chicken survives the first year, then by the end of the second year, there is a good chance that chicken will have developed some resistance. However, a chicken carrying the virus can die even later in life from it.
