Once you hatch chicks, do you need to vaccinate for Mareks disease? I know all the hatcheries sell this, I just wondered if you should? If so how do you do it? I've never given an animal a shot before. [IMG]

I always just assumed that the chicks that I bought last year at the feed store already had their shots.

There are lots of things to consider when vaccinating! First you need to know what disease are prevalent in your area and if Mareks has been a problem then definately vaccinate for that.
