Mare's Illegal Cute-ness (Call Duck) Chat Thread!!

I do wish males had more differences between the colors. I'm just not a fan of the typical mallard color
Same. Now, if there were more varieties of the Magpie pattern, I would certainly go for that!

Also, when did you change the name of the thread, @Overo Mare ?? LOL!

Just a few minutes ago LOL.

Check into Ancona Calls. They're not recognized, but I feel you'd like them.

OH! That would be nice! I don't care if they're recognized or not, I just prefer the non-mallard look. Mallards just seem so... common, lol!

It's way past time I started my own thread. Please feel free to share your own Call ducks and chat! Calls from your past, present, and future are all welcome!

My OG girls (thanks @Conan for starting this obsession!) are the 4 in front and the 4 most close to the camera. They will be 2 years old April and May 2023. From left to right: Butter, Puddle, Lidus, Raspberry (in back), Roxy, and my drake Puddin' in the rear.

The newest pair arrived this October from Montana. They are approximately 7 months old. Their names are Raspberry and Puddin'.

I will be working on breeding the newest pair this coming spring, and potentially exploring one of my OG girl's genetics. She has a nice enough shape and bill that I don't think it would take much for her to produce SQ babies.

Here are the stats on the group as of today.
