Okay, so Ontario links wouldn't help you much. I'll try to keep my eyes open for stuff though! Ig I don't snag them first...Alberta.
Make an Amazon list! That's what I do when I go into duck "nesting" mode. Instead of buying I just add to my list.I don't really like white birds, so it's wonderful to see all of the colours they come in. I'm getting excited. I want to start stocking up on feed and supplements, but I must resist until I get eggs!
Oh My Goodness. After taking a picture of mine I can see that one is the Mallard type and one of the others looks just like this one!!! They really are pretty little ducks. The ones I've seen in show look like fat pigeons to me for some reason. The Darks especially always have super blocky, round heads, though.

I know it's no consolation, but White Ameraucanas are one of the very few breeds I can actually stand in pure white.I don't even like the white calls or Orps mentioned.
Is he Blue Mottled?Must resist temptation to add mottling to my silkied pens...
Whoops, too many chickens, here is a call duck to balance it out. Snowy has always been my favorite variety for them.

I had thought that I had two Mallard type but after taking a picture of them I realized one is a Snowy and very pretty. Thanks for this picture as it helped me identify the color of my one. I found mine on Craigslist and didn't have to pay anything since we did a swap thing. Big ducks for small ducks. Yours are sooooo pretty!!!The ones I've seen in show look like fat pigeons to me for some reason. The Darks especially always have super blocky, round heads, though.

We are on our yearly weather roller coaster. Last week we were below freezing several days. This week it’s been rain and it’s supposed to be 65F degrees today! I found another duck egg this morning!!![]()

Shot of the color difference in Grey and Blue Fawn. The bodies are so similar, head color tells the tale.

I also noticed today that I have a drake with a chocolate head! I’ve not even noticed him before, I’ll have to check my log and see which brood he came from. Lol
