Oh I get the breakfast mouth too.I've never had any other kind of duck, but I have noticed that Crash is kind of seasonal with her noisiness. I'm more likely to hear her set off randomly in the fall and spring when the wild ducks are migrating than in summer or winter. She does gets mouthy any time of year if I'm a bit late to get out there and serve her her breakfast in the morning, though.![]()

I had Swedish for several years, then temporarily had a couple Appleyard, pekin, and Saxony. (A kid wanted to trade them to me for some eggs, so I took them, I eventually gave them back to him because he missed them) All those girls were loud. Especially the pekin. The depth of her quack was much different than the high pitch quack of the calls.
