Margo is in Trouble

Pics
Love the Facebook page! That’s actually right near where I live.

Margo is actually looking pretty spritely for a sick bird on a hot day. Hot days are tough for us regardless, even without a sick girl.

Her tail did go down shortly after this photo, so I gave her ibuprofen. I also brought home some watermelon to help th all with the heat and fluids. Margo was also vocalizing a bit more. She does this trumpet sound when she wants to get away from you or if she wants to let the flock now she’s the boss and gets to eat first.

I’ll do a second dose of amoxicillin after work. I’m just here for lunch right now.

Now that the excitement of my arrival has worn off, she’s not looking so spritely, but not horrible either. Here she is right now hunched over with her original to flock mates Bridgette & Bagheera beside her.
I really can't help but wonder if she is getting stressed when you are around.
I don't mean this in an ugly way, I promise.
It seems that she is fine when you first arrive...then not so fine.

Yes, she is a little stressed around me right now. But they ALWAYS get all excited when my car drives up, as it often means freerange time.
And yes, Bagheera has been plucking her back for a loooooong time. It only stopped when I increased the protein, but then returned. They roost right beside eacj other, head to tail.

I'm wondering if they are keeping her away from the food during the day.
