Her sister Lilly is all black.

Patsy came from a farm where numerous roosters and hens were getting together. Her sister Lilly is much smaller than her. Patsy's eggs are twice the size of Lilly's as well. We have no idea what all is in her, even who her parents were as the nest was from mixed hens. Therefore we call her our lovable Mutt.

Hm...She looks an awful lot like a black star or a barnevelder...

What size are black star or barnevelder? Her sister Lilly is just a barely bigger than my White Leghorn and lays a much smaller egg than the leghorn. Patsy is much much larger than Lilly and lays a cream colored egg that is as big as the leghorn's.

My barnevelder is fairly large...but I am not sure about black stars.
