I sent 3 dozen this morning after fighting my broody's for the morning collection. GrrrGrrrrGrrrr

Goofy birds. At least they kept them warm for me. Most of Sundays Eggs were cold and went strait to the fridge for eating. I hope he has a big successful hatch

I hear that! My seramas take turn being broody so they are the only unfrozen eggs I have right now!

No word yet. At work freezing my butt off. Not so much heat here. But moving around keeps you warmer and burns more calories

It's cooold! Missed one of my kids bus, had to drive him to school. Raced home to take care of the chickens and morning chores.. have somewhere to be at 11:00. Rushing in the morning is not good for me(or people around me

), lol! Hopefully the rest of the day goes better!! Did I mention it's cold?? Just kidding..in the spirit of finding something good to say, I did say a prayer this morning thanking the lord for our weather and that it wasn't as bad as a lot of other people's weather. At least we do have an end in sight. Hope you're warming up Sally!

this is a first that the bottom of my plastic waterers actually cracked! It is a very good thing that I have backups! Now I dont though

Kind of sad that this is soo exciting to me, but I found this in the coop today. After a loong eggless winter, this little egg fart tells me that someone is gearing up to lay me some eggs. Simple pleasures....The day is now looking up!

awwww!!! I found a fart egg, we will try to hatch it but last time there was no yolk inside HA! worth a try for fun!! at least I think so!
